Ischia Global Film & Music Festival: The restart of the isle

Even this year the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival will take place at the beautiful isle between 18^th and 25^th July 2021. The International movie festival attract participants from the international jet.set. “A festival to restart” as Tony Renis, the event producer said.

The Festival

The Ischia Global Film and Music Festival take place since 2003 with the name of Foreign Film Festival to award the operas and representative people in the field of cinematographic art, and celebrate the beauty of our country. This year will be edition 19° and one of the most important events of the summer in Ischia.

The festival, created by Michelangelo Messina was founded by Pascal Vicedomini (creator of the Capri Hollywood Festival) together with the international academy of art in Ischia, the Campania region and the Ischia Global film & Music Festival, sponsored by the International Academy of Art and “DG Cinema and Audriovision of MiC, and is part of the AFIC (Italian association of Italian Cinema), in partnership with cultural academies.

Summer 2021

For the 2021 edition of Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in program between 18^th and 25^th July, a series of representative people will be involved, such as Tony Renis as producer, Carolina Rosi, actress and producer and the English actress Trudie Styler. The calendar is rich of event, forums, concerts.

The Main Subject of the Festival

The main subject this year will be the sea and the environment.
One of the most important awards will be “Il mio amico in fondo al mare” to share the importance of protecting the sea. Within the protagonists, a Oscar Prize, prodiced by Netflix, telling the story between a submarine photographer and an octopus. Even Leonardo di Capri and his foundation sponsored the festival.
