Sorrento-Positano Marathon 2019

An event dedicated to running lovers, unique in itskind and now a fixedappointment for runners from all over the world.

A 54 km race that takes place between Sorrento and Positano. The competition is divided into two routes: one so-called “Ultra Marathon” of about 54 km and the other “Overview” of 27 km.

The competition will take place through Sorrento, Sant’Agnello, Massa Lubrense and Positano. It will be a sucession of slopes that run alongside the sights of the Amalfi Coast.

In detail, the “Ultra Marathon”will start on December 1 from Sorrento, the maximum time allowed to cross the finish line will be 7 hours. The “Overview” will always start on December 1, butat 9.00 and will take up to 4 hours.

In addition to these two official routes there will also be a 2 km family walk starting at 9.30 am, a promenade through the city center, ideal for enjoying the event without being an athlete necessarily. Many gadgets and shirts will be gift during the marathons.

This international event will allow many tourists to participate and take the opportunity to discover the wonders of this rich territory during such a special and healthy moment of sport.
